The Tech Level is a map option which determines which units can be built. The higher the tech level, the more units can be built. "Unrestricted" is the default tech level, allowing the player to build everything.
- Infantry Only - Allows only basic units, infantry only.
- Low Level - Allows some low tech units.
- Medium Level - Allows some more units.
- No Superweapons - Allows building everything except superweapons.
- Unrestricted - Allows building everything.
